Our field of work can become drudgery when we don't attain to that level of motivation. Apart from architectural practice, I encounter "Drive" while engaged in new media and social networking. My blog posts here explore what I have been calling "net-giving" as the online evolution of "net-working". Based on your review of "Drive" there may be a correlation with my terms and Pink's concept of Motivation 2.0 and 3.0.
