We are particularly excited about IIDEX/NeoCon coinciding with the Green Building Festival and also the World Green Building Council Summit - 2 great events that will shed light on new initiatives and the business and design of green buildings.

World Green Building Council Summit

The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) Summit takes place on Wednesday, Sept 23rd from 3:30-5:45 pm. Its mission is to ensure that green buildings are at the forefront of decision makers’ minds when the world gets together in Copenhagen to commit to new carbon emission reduction targets.

At the Summit in Toronto, the WorldGBC wants to shine the spotlight on Canadian initiatives and showcase the opportunities for governments to be the leading advocate for green buildings on the international stage. Green Building Festival

The Green Building Festival program will be held on 2 days and will feature leading project case-studies from around the world, technical analysis of different technologies and materials, and innovative business solutions that are helping to make green building projects a reality.

Wednesday, Sept 23rd, is a full day of visionary keynotes, panels and presentations by Green Building Thought Leaders. Thursday, Sept 24th, is workshops and breakout sessions highlighting specific green building solutions, programs, and technologies. Register here for the GB Festival.

“Green” Networking Event

In addition, you can’t miss the best networking opportunity of the entire show - the Green Building Festival and World Green Building Council Reception - on Wednesday, Sept 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm.
