UPworld’s new look is here! We have been busy testing the new site design for the past few weeks and are excited to now share UPworld’s new look and feel with you.

The redesign is focused on improving the site’s usability and positioning - we wanted to give UPworld a more professional look that clearly reflects the design, construction, and real estate industry. You will find that the navigation has stayed the same, but we have found ways to feed you more valuable content on each page.

Here are some of our new features:

• New Logo and Tag Line - We created a new logo that more closely reflects our name “upworld” and establishes a clearer association with the real estate & building industry, our target community. It also alludes to the importance of building community and building up one’s network. Our new tag line “Building Connections” also reinforces the importance of connecting the industry online.
• New Brand Color - To go along with our new logo design, we have re-branded the entire site’s color schematic. This new blue color will be our single dominant brand color for all our published materials, making us easier to identify.
• Simplified Industry Categories - We have simplified the industry categories on the top navigation bar to focus on 3 main groups: Design, Construction, and Real Estate. The 8 original industry categories are still active and in place but are now simply classified under 1 of these 3 main industry tabs, making it easier for you to find what you are looking for.
• Wider Site - It’s now wider at 1024 pixels!
• Content - We have enhanced our home-page content for easier viewing and searchability. Once you login, your messages and invites will be presented on your homepage with easy access to updating your profile and inviting new members.
• New UP Box - We have added a new updates area in the upper righthand corner that we are calling the ‘UP(dates) Box’ which will give you valuable daily announcements and news - this is your access to the freshest content on the site.
• More Featured Members and Project Content - We are populating the right hand column of the UPworld site with more content than ever including the latest on new and most viewed Members, Projects, News, and more.
• Advertising - We have new ad placements to offer on UPworld including a exciting new and affordable ‘Featured Companies’ space where we advertise your company and its specialty to all our industry members. Contact us to learn more.
• New Membership Policy - In order to ensure that only quality industry professionals are members, we our making the UPworld network an exclusive service, only open to professionals that you invite to join. This gives you the power to shape the UPworld community by inviting only the people you want onboard. Professionals interested in joining that do not have an “insider connection” will be able to apply by submitting their full qualifications to one of our industry leaders to review. 

As you know, it’s more important than ever to be networked into the right professional community. So we hope you are as excited as we are about UPworld’s new look and design features.

This is the first of many new updates, as we will be bringing you a host of new features in the upcoming months.
