| School: | Oxford Brookes University |
| Degree: | BA (Hons) Architecture |
| Study Field: | Architecture & Design |
| Description: | Founded in 1927, the Department of Architecture at Oxford Brookes has established an international reputation for the quality of both its research and its teaching. As one of the largest architecture schools in the UK, with around 600 students and 70 staff, it plays a leading role in defining the national, and international, agenda in design education and research.
This year we welcomed around 100 new students from home and overseas onto the undergraduate architecture course, plus 30 onto the interior architecture BA and around 120 onto the diploma in architecture and master's programmes. In addition there are some 40 students on the M.Phil/PhD programme.
Oxford Brookes is recognised as one of the country's leading schools and is consistently ranked by The Architect's Journal as one of the five best schools in the UK. Students from the school figure regularly in national and international prizes and awards and go on to work for many of the best-known practices in the country. In addition Oxford Brookes was chosen by the Royal Institute of British Architects as the sole provider of the RIBA's Office Based Examination (OBE) programme for Part 1 and Part 2.
The department enjoys an international reputation in research, in areas ranging from sustainable design to modular buildings and from design for well-being to vernacular architecture. |

| GOALS AND INTERESTS |
| |
| Career Goals: My ambition/career goal is to establish connections with other architects, designers, contractors etc. around the globe. I want to be involved in further international/national projects within the architecture/design environment. Being an international recognized architect as well as project manager is an ambitious committment. I can proove my architectural & design skills/talent worldwide, enhance creativity as well as retaining a busy hard-working lifestyle. However, I also believe it is also important to embrace new technology that improves the way we communicate ideas and transmit information. |
| |
| Personal Interests: I am also interested in how team members are integrated across the life of a building project, especially since the process of designing and building is collaborative, not linear. |
