Description:
The Institution of Civil Engineers is delighted to announce that the programme for the Fourth International Forensic Engineering Conference is now ready and delegates are invited to register for the event.

The two day conference held on 3-4 December, with a half day workshop on 2 December, will focus on moving from failure to understanding of built environments in order to help with managing sustainable life-time performance of constructed assets.

Why should I attend?
This is the only forensic engineering event that will give delegates access to case studies and technical assessments examining real challenges and solutions across the following areas:
Reviews of past failures and associated lessons
Examples of structural failure and collapse
Durability and Assessment
Teaching forensic practice including investigation techniques
Avoiding failures for improved safety and business continuity
Occupation related issues such as fire
Legal and care considerations
Problems with ground and foundation movements
Over 60 papers, strictly peer reviewed, will be presented at this truly international and challenging conference.
