Target 2050: World with zero net energy buildings
The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) will release at SB08 an update of its Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EEB) project, which will map out the transition to a 2050 world in which buildings use zero net energy.
International green building market report to be released at SB08
In the first study of its kind, the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) and McGraw-Hill Construction (MHC) have partnered to investigate the size and scope of the green building marketplace in 30 countries around the world. The result of the investigation is the report Global Green Trends SmartMarket Report™, which will be presented at World SB08 Melbourne.
