The exhibition will not only do justice to the subject in terms of content; megastructures will also be represented by the exhibition’s architecture.
The imposing industrial architecture of the power plant will be used for the first time as an exhibition space for this project. The hall’s expansive, modular structure is ideally suited to the exhibition’s subject. At the moment the venue is being transformed into a new art centre: MODEM – SPACE FOR CONTEMPORARY MUSIC AND ARTS.
The exhibition will be on view in Berlin from September 12th to November 2nd 2008 and subsequently travel to further venues in Europe and abroad.
