Facilities management encompasses a broad set of specialized activities. This course acquaints you with the concept of planning as a process that involves the integration of design, facility technologies and business management principles for the purposes of identifying, documenting and meeting organizational needs. You are exposed to the range of skills required, including architectural design, facilities engineering, project accounting and scheduling. By the end of the course, you have an overview of the planning process, from project analysis to design synthesis.
