Jacob Tobias, M.L.A., is a landscape architect at Wallace, Roberts & Todd in San Francisco. He earned his master's degree in landscape architecture at UC Berkeley, where he has also taught. In addition, he has been a guest lecturer for various courses in the Landscape Architecture Certificate Program at UC Berkeley Extension.

A requirement in the Certificate Program in Landscape Architecture
Study advanced landform and planting design, design detailing, preparation of working drawings and presentation graphics. Discover design solutions at the design-development phase of the project sequence. Lectures address budgets, available materials and technology and construction industry norms on detailed and integrated design decisions.
Prerequisites: All courses leading up to and including Studio L2: Project Planning and Design X406; Construction Technology I X404 and II X405; and Social Factors in Environmental Design X402.
