Christian Marriage Cafe and E-5 Ministry is based on Ephesians 5 and is a ministry designed specifically for married couples as well as singles looking for their Christian Soul Mate. Both Trent and Summer Cotton, having been in marriages previously, understand the struggles of marriage and what can happen in a marriage when Christ is not its center. They have a heart for couples and singles alike, presenting a unique blend of Scripture and common personality techniques to help strengthen the bond of marriage as well as the resolve of Christian Singles. Our Approach
We will discuss the aspect of relationship dynamics using Scripture. Our approach is to use four sections or “Modules†to complete our task and help you better understand yourself, as well as those around you.

Ephesians 5: 21-33
22 For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23 For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. 24 As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.
25 For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her 26 to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.[b] 27 He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. 28 In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. 29 No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. 30 And we are members of his body.
31 As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.â€[c] 32 This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. 33 So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
We are currently working on a series called "Parents: Fighting for this Generation". This series is to reach out to parents and guide them through the process of raising their children in a society where the media and the technological age is raising our children instead of the parents. It starts with God being the center of the family. This series and teaching is according to scriptures on parenting in the Bible.

Through all of that, still her greatest experience is within her own life...what better way than that :-) Summer was married for almost 10 years when she went through a divorce. She became a single mother with 2 children and began to ask questions and seek for the answers. She found it in God. From that, God revealed her mistakes and how to work through her short comings. Since that time she has remarried a wonderful Godly man and has inherited a beautiful daughter! Through this marriage, God has used both her and her husband to research the Bible along with hundreds of authors, pastors and couples to grow successfully in their marriage. God gives each of us gifts and he also gives us life lessons. With this, we are to help others. So, that is what Christian Marriage Cafe and E-5 Ministry is all about. Our core instructors hold a Masters Degree in Education and have combined experience of over 150 years in the wedding industry from various specialties and backgrounds.
The Wedding Planning Institute is available to students who are interested in receiving the industry's premier education in the business of planning weddings and social events. This Certification program has been accepted by Colleges and Universities around the United States as the standard curriculum and business training for wedding professionals.
